Older women who date younger men are often called “cougars” in the media. This somewhat predatory name gives them a slightly negative connotation. As if they are preying on younger men when this is in fact not always the cease. The truth of the matter is sometimes younger men prefer older women. In truth older women have a lot to offer a younger suitor and they in return have many things to offer an older woman.
